How do I enroll?
You’re covered automatically beginning the first of the month, following six months of employment. There is no enrollment required, and no cost to you.
How much does it pay?
STD replaces 60% of your income, up to $1,400 per week, after a 7-day waiting period, following an illness or injury.
How long do payments last?
Payments continue for up to 25 weeks.
What might reduce benefits?
Other income sources, such as federal or state disability, may reduce your benefit.

Long-Term Disability (LTD)
LTD provides financial protection when a serious illness or injury keeps you from working. If you’re unable to perform your job for an extended period, you may qualify for LTD benefits.
How do I enroll?
You’re covered automatically beginning the first of the month, following six months of employment. There is no enrollment required, and no cost to you.
How much does it pay?
LTD replaces 60% of your income, up to $6,000 per month, after 180 days of disability.
How long do payments last?
Payments continue until the date of recovery or Social Security Normal Retirement Age.
What might reduce benefits?
Other income sources, such as Social Security and Workers’ Comp, may reduce your benefit.
Salary Continuation Policy
