Vacation & Sick Time

Taking care of each other means taking care of ourselves, too. Time away from work is important to relax, recharge, and recuperate if you’re not feeling well. To ensure that all Amy’s team members are able to do this, Amy’s provides regular, full- and part-time employees with paid Vacation Time and paid Sick Time. Leave of Absence

Amy’s partners with TRISTAR, our Leave of Absence Administrator, to manage leave requests and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. If you need to take a leave, you must contact TRISTAR and follow Amy’s internal reporting procedures. Failure to do so may result in a delay or denial of your leave. Please see Amy’s Employee Handbook for details (Amy’s SharePoint Home Page > Departments > People).

Types of Leave

  • Your own serious health condition
  • A family member’s serious health condition
  • Pregnancy or bonding (birth, adoption, or foster)
  • Personal leave
  • Military leave

How to Request Leave

Notify TRISTAR

Contact TRISTAR at least 30 days* before your leave and they will respond within two business days.

Notify Amy’s

You must also inform your supervisor and HR team and follow normal leave reporting procedures.

Submit Documents

Complete and return any forms or information requested by TRISTAR as soon as possible.

*30-day notification requirement waived in the case of an emergency leave event.

  • Register using your work email.
  • Create a password (via email from AbsenceSoft).
  • Select New Request to start a case.
